Habasit spindle tapes have been setting the benchmarks for spindle tapes for decades and are in demand by customers all around the world. Polyamide Power Transmission Belts
Our comprehensive range of polyamide power transmission belts is well-known for its reliability and long service life in the most demanding applications and harsh conditions. Their traction layers are highly resilient and can cope with intermittent overloads, which prevents residual elongation. In addition, many of these products are known for their excellent performance as processing belts.
A Series
The A range is specially designed for heavy open drives where a robust design with the highest endurance is required.

Aramid Power Transmission Belts
TF tangential and flat belts
TF range belts are the best choice for very long belts in situations where high accuracy and consistent belt speeds are required, e.g. in applications in the textile industry and the post sector, e.g. for letter sorting. The belts’ advantages include a high modulus of elasticity that results in very high spindle revolution uniformity, no retensioning, low energy consumption, and a long service life.

Light Conveyor Belts
Light conveyor belts feature European-style construction, based on plied belts. Thanks to their wide construction modules, they can be made highly flexible to cope with small pulley diameters, or very stiff for use in heavy industries. Light belts can be installed for almost all materials handling and processing industry applications. High-tech automation usually uses light conveyor belts.
Crosslinked PUR Belts
Crosslinked PUR belts are extremely conductive and are considerered state-of-the-art for the electronics industry. They are manufactured with polyester or polyamide fabrics protected by cross-linked polyurethane, which offers uniquely effective abrasion resistance during the goods accumulation phase.
PVC Belts
PVC belts embrace a wide product family manufactured using different technologies and raw materials. This allows us to provide the best possible solutions to meet specific application needs.
Energy-saving belts are specifically designed to cut operating costs. With a special lubricant applied to the running side, energy-saving belts offer a very low coefficient of friction between the belt and the slider bed. Low friction means that less energy is needed to move the belt, so as a consequence, energy consumption is reduced. Savings can be made of up to 45%.
Flame-retardant belts offer safety features in case of fire. The belts are equipped with a self-extinguishing additive able to put out flames after few seconds, which stops the fire spreading. These belts comply with ISO-340 standards and are mainly used in airports and distribution centers.
Habasit’s general purpose belts come in many different types. They feature a smooth surface, or are embossed with various design patterns. Belts can have one or several plies, and are available with different surface colors. As a result, our general purpose belts can meet the needs of many different applications.
Premium Line belts represent state-of-the-art PVC belting. These products are manufactured on a hot-melt coating line using the best quality PVC granules available. The combination of high-tech fabric belt carcasses deliver best performance within the PVC product family.
TPU Belts
TPU belts provide optimal performance when small diameters and high abrasion resistance are required. They are the high-end line of the light conveyor belt range for the most demanding applications.
